Death Battle Cole Vs. Blanka Prelude by PLCTheCd

Wiz:  Alright, the combatants are set, it’s time to end this debate once and for all.

Boomstick: IT’S TIME FOR A DEATH BATTTTLLLLEEEEE!

Somewhere in the city of New Marais, Cole looks out in the city’s horizons from a rooftop looking for any signs of trouble, until he hears a call from a rubber coated walkie-talkie.

“Cole, thank god you picked up!” Zeke, Cole’s best friend hollered. “There’s some kind of a green, red-haired ape man tearing up the Militia like confetti in the Ville Cochon district! He doesn’t look like any conduit I ever seen but he’s got the same electric powers like you!”

The last part caught Cole’s interest, “Is that so?” He replied, “Get out as fast as you can and Nix and Kuo while you’re at it over!”

“You don’t have to tell me twice,” Zeke said from the other end, “Oh and Cole, good luck, over and out!”

In an instant, Cole leaped from the rooftop and landed on the nearest telephone pole to perform the Induction Grind. His limbs radiate in electricity across the pole’s cables as he slid across the city streets like a high speed cable car.

Minutes later…

Cole landed down in the asphalt and heard the terrified screams of Bertrand’s Militia, he followed where the screams are, and then came across what appears to be a green ape like creature with reddish-orange hair and brown trunks, surrounded by at least half a dozen unconscious Militiamen. Or at least what Cole is thinking as he walk towards the roaring ape man with caution.

However as Cole drew nearer, the said Ape man, known as Blanka saw his presence as roared towards him.

“LEAVE ME ALONE!” He bellowed, shocking (No pun intended) the Demon of Empire City.

Cole then snapped himself out and believed to be another Conduit, before speaking back to him.

“Look, I’m here to help you, just calm down and…SHIT!” Macgrath never got the chance to finish his sentence as a living, green cannonball shot towards him before rolling away in time.

“It looks like, I gotta do this the hard way.” He muttered himself before getting back and pulling out his Amp

FIGHT!

Blanka curled himself into ball and flew again in a Rolling Attack, hoping to hit Cole again. This time, Cole was ready at swung at the Brazilian like a baseball, sending him flying, and crashing into a nearby car.

Cole puts away his Amp and ran towards the car where Blanka landed while lobbing several Alpha Grenades. The electric bombs landed before exploding into a fiery inferno. When Cole approached the burning car, there was no one there except burning metal. He then looked everywhere after unsheathing his Amp again, Blanka was nowhere to be found.

Or was he?

Blanka performed the Amazon River Run as he slides out the nearby rubble, connecting Cole, and tripping him. He then slides again, hitting him while he’s down, before pouncing him like a predator does to its prey.

Macgrath used his Amp to defend himself from his opponent’s beatings as Blanka pounding continuously on Cole’s chest, limbs, and face before trying to take a bite out him. Key note on “try” as his teeth locked onto his Amp. Giving Cole the opportunity to activate the Amp’s charge.

With a crackle, Blanka howled in pain as he was electrocuted forcing him to let go of the bite before rolling away in agony.

The Demon of Empire City got up to his feet, groaning from the bruises and scratches he endured but still has the strength to fight. Cole decided to put away his Amp and fired several Bolts of electricity out of hand to the writhing Blanka as the Brazilian beast howled even louder from every after bolt.

Cole decided that enough was enough and walked towards Blanka to see if he’s still alive. Hoping that his opponent calmed down, he then called out to him.

“I that you can talk, now do you have enough?”

Blanka got up to his knees and simply glared at him with pure anger.

“No, not good enough” He growled before conducting his own electricity at Cole. Like a taser, Blanka’s body was crackling and hissing with the Electric Thunder.

Cole was caught off guard and yelled in pain as Blanka continues to shock him. He have to think something quick or else.

While Blanka continues to shock Cole, he felt a large force suddenly pushing him off his feet as if he was hit by a hurricane before landing on his back. What he didn’t know is that Cole fired off a Blast shockwave while Blanka wasn’t looking. When Blanka got up, he saw his target running away and proceeds after him.

The Demon of Empire City knew that Blanka was running after him and needs to find a working street lamp or a generator to heal himself. To his luck, he found one in form of a working air conditioner. Cole points his arms out at the source, and recharging himself in an Electric Drain. He then felt his injuries going away and feels his strength again.

While Blanka is catching up to him, he saw Cole climbing up to a roof of a house, before running across the roof, and landing onto a telephone pole. Cole simply stood there and performed a “Come get me” gesture.  The green haired ape man decides to follow him and begins climbing as well. But when Blanka reached the roof of the house, he didn’t expect was that Cole was sliding across the cables like a skateboard before landing next to him.

“That was some fancy electrical work, but I’m the real deal here.” Cole taunted.

Blanka decided not to make a comeback, and instead charges towards him. The conduit fires several Bolts at him but suddenly Blanka backflips in the air, dodging all of Cole’s attack. Before Cole knew what was coming, Blanka suddenly switched directions in midair before hitting him with a Backstep Roll.

Cole’s grabbed his chest in pain while he flew off like rocket, Cole then regained his composure and fires off static electricity from the palms of his hands as he begins gliding towards Blanka with the Static Thrusters. He glided back where Blanka was, and plan to attack the Street Fighter like an owl to a mouse. Unknown to Cole however, Blanka rolled up into the air like a yo-yo before back-kicking him in the face with a Vertical Roll.

The conduit was struck in the chin but not before grabbing Blanka’s legs to take him out as well. Blanka was too surprised to think something next before they both landed on roof with a loud CRASH!

As the roof collapsed from the weight, the house (For some reason, the occupants of the house was away) was filled with dust and debris. Furniture was laid about in ruins, beds torn to shreds with springs popping out of the mattresses, and various contents lain about. When the dust finally cleared, both Cole and Blanka were on their feet, panting and glaring at their opponents. Cole was then first to continue to attack as he fired a Rocket made entirely out of electricity and hits Blanka in the chest as he flew out of a nearby window, shattering the glass with it.

When Cole heard the thudding impact, he then ran and leapt out of the now open window before landing next to Blanka with a Thunder Drop. The shockwave sends Blanka flying again before smacking into a brick wall nearby. Blanka slides out the wall like something out of a cartoon while leaving a Blanka shaped imprint behind.

The Street Fighter was bleeding all over, and felt his several broken ribs. Despite of this, Blanka refuses to back down as he sees Cole running towards him with his Amp. He decides to use his trump cards right here and now.

Blanka crouched down on the ground and rolled like a buzzsaw, he continues to gather momentum at ever increasing speeds while Cole was getting closer. Before Cole figured something out, he was struck with the Grand Shave Roll.

Cole felt like his insides were turning into mush, before crash landing into a wooden fence. Splinters imbedded into his skin with the grass and the wood stained red with his blood. What’s worse is that he lost his Amp from the attack, and can only watch the lumbering Blanka sending a flying kick to his face, sending him flying again to the ground.

“HERE’S ANOTHER!” Blanka roared while beating his chest before back flipping and hitting his fist in the ground as a surge of electricity flying towards Cole.

He barely put up a barrier made up of ice just on time, as ice and electricity connected. Cole’s Frost Shield absorbed Blanka’s attack from the impact, before the barrier dissipated. Afterwards, the electricity absorbed back into Cole, whom felt his strength returning and some of his severe wounds going away.

“I was going easy on you, but not anymore!” Cole yelled as icicles form across his arms. “Here’s another surprise attack!”

Blanka got out of his stupor and discovered what was going on, and with all his remaining strength, crouches down and conducts all the electricity he can muster. As now a living being of electricity and flesh, Blanka hopes to finish Cole off before the latter gets a chance with the Lightning Cannonball. The Brazilian Beast Man somersaults towards Cole as his ultimate attack!

But it was all in vain...

The last thing Blanka saw was the full brunt of the Ionic Freeze. Giant icicles begins to impale several parts of his body, coating some of the icicles with his blood, as the freezing temperatures causing some of his skin to crack. Eventually, Blanka lost control and feeling of his body as the ice begins to encase his body. Finally, he felt nothing but cold and then, nothing in general.

Cole got up to his feet and witnessed the full extent of his ice powers as large icicles covered the direction where Blanka was at. Buildings, cars, fences, and poles were either impaled by the ice or collapsed from the impact. Cold air now radiating the once sweltering weather of New Marais. Despite all of this Cole then sees Blanka’s frozen body then fell into the asphalt before shattering into countless pieces of meat and ice.

The Demon of Empire City sighed in relief and collapsed on the ground in complete exhaustion. He then heard his walkie-talkie calling him, before picking it up. It was Zeke, who sounded completely worried.

“Cole are you alight?!” He asked, “I can hear the battle all the way from where I am."

"I'm alright Zeke," Cole replied, "I just stumbled across a new conduit I think, and I had no choice but to take him down."

“Thank god,” Zeke said relieved. "I owe you an ice cold beer!"

"Eh, maybe some bourbon instead to warm me up." Cole suggested.

KO!

Boomstick and Master of the Boot: BRUTAL!

Wiz: It was a complete shoe-in for Cole since he fought even larger and more powerful enemies than Blanka.

Young Samurai: And unlike Blanka, Cole has better control of his electricity plus he has powers of ice from Kuo.

Boomstick: Which Blanka hates, living in the tropical climate like Brazil will get to you like that!

Master of the Boot: Blanka maybe stronger and faster than Cole, but Cole is smarter and need we remind you that Blanka got training from Dan Hibiki?!

Wiz: Finally, Blanka can’t control himself when he’s enraged, making impulsive decisions and by instinct like Boomstick when he’s drunk

Boomstick: Shut up Wiz! At least I can hold my liquor just like how Cole can handle the fight!

Young Samurai: Also, even though Blanka can generate electricity from a diet of electric eels. An electric eel can only generate 650 volts and 1 amp.

Master of the Boot: And for Cole? He can generate enough power as a lightning bolt!

Wiz: Which can generate up to a 100,000,000 or even up to a 1,000,000,000 volts. Even if Blanka did overpower him physically, Cole can simply absorb him with the Bioleech.

Boomstick: Basically Blanka's a mere living battrey for him.

Master of the Boot: Poor Blanka got the cold shoulder.

Young Samurai: The winner is Cole

Cole
+ Can take more damage and hit harder
+ Better control of his powers

Blanka
